Description
The Calatrava is Patek’s most iconic model. It’s literally THE classical wristwatch. Solid 18k gold case, roman numerals, the time, and nothing superfluous. This model 5120 is a modern model and larger than most despite being ultra-thin.
The case is 18k yellow gold with dimensions of 35mm diameter by an astonishingly thin for an automatic watch 6.6mm thick. Bezel is Hobnail and the front and display back crystals are sapphire.
Dial is pure white and lacquered. Roman numerals and black baton hands.
Movement is the ultra-thin Patek Philippe Caliber 240 which is automatic winding, with mini-rotor construction. This movement has 27 jewels, 161 individual parts, 48 hour power reserve and is adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and in 5 positions. The caliber is stamped with the Geneva Seal - the ne plus ultra standard for Swiss watchmaking.
Strap is new Patek crocodile with an 18k Patek tang buckle.
