Description
Here is a very rare vintage Cartier from circa 1970 which was sold exclusively in their Paris Boutique. This case shape is unqiue to the Cristallor.
Case is solid 18k gold with tank or rectangular shape, but with 45 degree corners. The case has two steps in front surrounding the sapphire crystal. A unique case in all of Cartier’s esteemed history! This watch was produced in a lady’s size, which one sees rarely but still semi- frequently. We have never seen this larger men’s size Cristallor before. Dimensions are 35mm long by 27.7mm wide by only 6mm thick.
Movement is a Cartier signed manual winding caliber with 17 jewels. Movement is clean, winding smoothly and running.
Original untouched eggshell white dial with roman numerals and blued sword hands. Simple. Elegant. Classic Cartier.
Strap is brown alligator with 18k gold Cartier deployment clasp.
Watch is in mint condition and will be delivered with Cartier box.
