Collectors are always looking for this dial on vintage Datejusts and one look tells you why. White with black roman numerals, as clean and elegant as it gets.
Original solid 18k gold Oyster case with clean fluted bezel with no dimishment from polishing and the same can be said of the case proper. Lugs are thick and uniform and it’s likely that this case has never been polished. Dimensions are 36mm diameter by 11.5mm thick. Serial number 2841XXX dates this watch to 1970.
Original white dial with black roman numerals, golden baton hands and date at 3 o’clock.
Original automatic winding Rolex Caliber 1570 with 26 jewels and adjusted in 5 positions and to temperature. Movement is clean and running and is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
Strap is new rustic brown suede with Rolex buckle. Condition is mint+.
