Here is a great looking vintage Rolex Daytona reference 6265 in solid 18k gold with champagne dial. These vintage gold Rolex watches are uber popular lately, and for every good reason in the world: it’s beautiful; it’s solid gold; these gold Daytonas have demonstrated excellent investment returns and future potential for appreciation; there aren’t enough of them to satisfy collector demand. Look around, these are getting very rare.
Original solid 18k gold case measures 37.5mm diameter by 13mm thick. Plastic crystal. Screw down crown and chronograph pushers operate perfectly. Original solid gold bezel has razor sharp edges and is very clean. Units per Hour scale measures from ‘50’ to ‘200’. Lugs are fat and uniform. Case is mint to mint+ condition.
Original champagne dial has applied golden hour markers and original hands. All of the luminous plots are intact. Sunken contrasting black subdials have concentric guilloche and contrasting original gold hands.
Original automatic winding Rolex Caliber 727 with 17 jewels and adjusted in 3 positions. This movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer. Condition is perfect.
Watch is on a Rolex 18k riveted Oyster bracelet in mint condition.
