Description
This is a charming and all-original vintage Patek Philippe Calatrava from circa 1950 in solid 18k gold with screw back case. A wonderful watch for a man or a woman at this 31mm size.
Solid 18k gold case with massive screw back and dimensions of 31mm diameter by 10mm thick. Domed acrylic crystal. Case has inner dust cover.
Silvered dial, almost egg shell white, with applied golden hour markers with double marker at 12 o’clock, original golden baton hands in mint condition, subsidiary seconds dial with concentric guilloche and embossed minutes chapter. Dial has some marking aroud 2 o’clock which in no way compromises the enjoyment of this original dial. Consider it character.
Original manual winding Patek Philippe Caliber 10’’’-200 with 18 jewels, swan-neck regulator, adjusted for heat, cold, isochronism and in 5 positions and stamped with the prestigious Geneva Seal. Movement is clean and running.
Strap is new modern hand sewn Patek alligator.
