Description
This Cartier Tank Americaine model has, inexplicably, been discontinued. It’s one of Cartier’s nicest Tank models for men, featuring a large solid 18k gold case, solid gold Cartier bracelet (full-length) and premium grade Cartier automatic winding movement.
The 18k yellow gold case features an elongated rectangular "tank" shape and has dimensions of 44.8mm long including the lugs by 26.5mm wide. Sapphire crystal. Crown with sapphire cabochon. Water resistant to 30 meters.
Dial is classical Cartier, silver color with radiant guilloche, roman numerals and minutes chapter, blued hands and date window above 6 o'clock. Dial is in near-mint condition.
Movement is the automatic winding Cartier caliber 077 with 25 jewels and beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. Movement is clean and running.
Bracelet will comfortably fit up to an 8 inch wrist and has heavy links, fits supplely and comfortably on the wrist and has a double-folding deployment clasp.
Watch is complete with original Cartier inner box and papers/booklets.
