Description
This is just a really nice watch. Rolex took their best-selling model the Datejust at 36mm diameter and injected it with steroids and voila: the Datejust II was born. At 41mm the size is just right for today’s style and being a Rolex Datejust, it’s the perfect watch.
Case is stainless steel with solid 18k white gold fluted bezel, with all surfaces mirror polished except for the case back, with sapphire crystal and screw-down crown. 41.5mm diameter by 12.3mm thick. To be honest, it wears even larger than its dimensions suggest.
Dial is ice blue with applied white gold roman numerals and baton hands. Date at 3 o’clock.
Movement is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 3136 with 31 jewels, Parachrom Breguet spring, Paraflex shock absorption, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
Oyster bracelet in stainless steel with all links and great sliding-fit clasp.
