When you think about it... 1960 was a really long time ago. If you were born around then, like I was, it's better to not think about it too much. But, when it comes to collectables, it just seems like so many high-end products from 1960 or so, have gone on to be among the most classic.
Original solid 14k gold case with plastic crystal and screw-down crown and 34mm diameter. Significantly, this watch has a smooth bezel, which is rare.
Original untouched silver dial with applied hour markers and original and, again, rare golden dauphine hands. The dial does have some light spotting, but then again most things born in 1960 have a lot more J
Original automatic winding, C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer Rolex Caliber 1560 with 25 jewels and adjusted to temperature and in 5 positions. Movement is clean and is running and the inside case back indicates a service history.
Rolex 14k riveted Oyster bracelet with 13 links and vintage clasp in clean condition with light stretch.
