Description
The Pasha came into existence when the Pasha of Marrakech, an avid swimmer, asked his friend Louis Cartier to make him a watch that he could swim with. Cartier reflected on the problem, and designed the Pasha, which is renowned for its crown with cap and chain system. The crown that you can see is really a cap with a sapphire cabochon, attached to a chain link and an anchor, which protects the smaller crown underneath.
Case is stainless steel with solid 18k gold diver's count up timing bezel. Case dimensions are 38mm diameter by 11mm thick. The crystal is sapphire. The crown and round pump style chronograph pushers have a blue sapphire cabochon. The case sides are brush finished, while the bezel is mirror polished.
Dial is creamy grey with sunburst guilloche, applied luminous hour markers with gold rings, luminous hands and date window at 6 o'clock. The subdials are gold and sunken, for a very nice effect. The 3 o'clock subdial is the chronograph's 12 hour totalizer. The 9 o'clock subdial is the 30 minute totalizer. The running seconds are at 6 o’clock.
Movement is premium quality Cartier quartz chronograph caliber for accurate and trouble-free timekeeping. The watch is running great and keeping perfect time.
