Description
This is the Tudor chronograph model that preceded the Tiger chronos (early to mid 1990s) and it is very collectable and very attractive. The case is very thick, hence its nickname "Big Block". This watch features silver dial with contrasting black subdials. Just a great watch.
Original stainless steel case with dimensions of 42mm diameter (including crown guards but not the crown) by 14mm thick. Stainless steel bezel with Units per Hour scale, plastic crystal, Rolex Triplock screw-down crown and chronograph pushers, and Rolex Geneva signed case back. Bezel edges and crystal show some wear. Bracelet has Tudor logo clasp, but is a Rolex Oyster ref. 78360 heavy link bracelet. Case is minimally, if ever, polished.
Original silver dial with contrasting black subdials and original hands. Date at 3 o'clock.
Original automatic winding movement, which is a Valjoux 7750 ebauche with special upgrades made to Tudor’s specifications.
