Description
I’m a sucker for any large rose gold watch with a grey dial. Do watches get any nicer looking than this? Maybe if you spend $100,000 or more, but not in this price range. This 42mm 18k rose gold Mille Miglia chronograph is from the Vintage collection and is a limited edition of only 250 watches. This watch is complete with box and papers.
The look of the watch, especially the dial, is pure vintage. Grey in color with applied rose gold hour markers and rose gold hands, the dial has a tachymetre scale and pulsations scale around the periphery.
Case is a massive 42mm diameter by 12.5mm thick, solid 18k rose gold, with huge round pump-style chronograph pushers, “1000 MIGLIA” signed crown, sapphire front and display back crystals, and a massive rear case bezel which is engraved Mille Miglia Vintage Limited Edition No. 16X/250 and with the 1889 model number and the case’s serial number.
Movement is the Chopard Caliber 1874 with 17 jewels.
Watch is 99% new on brown hand-sewn Chopard crocodile strap with 18k rose gold Chopard buckle and with box and papers.
