Description
Here is a Tudor Submariner from 1979 with so-called “Snowflake” hands, gorgeous faded ghost bezel insert and matching grey dial, 39mm stainless steel Rolex Oyster case (signed on the case back “ORIGINAL OYSTER CASE BY ROLEX GENEVA”) on very complimentary beige NATO strap.
Original steel case has fat lugs, original bezel with sharp edges and crisp serrated edge and original faded to grey Rolex bezel insert (called “ghost” for the color change), top hat style acrylic crystal, and Rolex Triplock crown which is working fine. Case is water resistant to 200 meters.
Original black dial also faded to a beautiful grey, which matches the ghost bezel, with original hands showing some age, and date at 3 o’clock. Dial text reads: “TUDOR PRINCE OYSTERDATE 200m = 660 ft SUBMARINER”.
Original automatic winding Tudor movement with 25 jewels which is clean and working.
