The reference 5196 Calatrava is my kind of watch. Current production and all of the advantages that come with that, but with strongly vintage styling cues. The best of both worlds!
Solid 18k white gold case measures 37mm diameter by 8mm thin. Sapphire crystal. Front and back surfaces of the watch are mirror polished while the case side is brush finished. Case back is solid and the case lines are simple and elegant.
Dial is where this watch shines. Dark silver with applied 18k white gold indices, gorgeous white gold dauphine hands and embossed minutes chapter. Subsidiary seconds dial. Timeless and elegant.
Movement is the manual winding Patek Philippe Caliber 215 PS with 18 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per hour, with 44 hour minimum power reserve and stamped with the Geneva Seal.
