Description
Here is a beautiful vintage IWC that we believe is priced more than fairly. Unpolished oversized solid 18k rose gold case with desirable ribbon style lugs, measuring 37mm diameter by 10.5mm thick, and the watch is on solid 14k gold mesh bracelet (and will fit up to a 7 inch wrist).
The Caliber 89 is IWC’s most famous movement, and hails from a time when watch companies competed on the accuracy of their watches’ timekeeping. Today, all movements more or less keep accurate time, but it wasn’t always so. Companies spent a lot of money on research and development, and the manual winding Caliber 89 is IWC’s most deservedly famous movement. Movement was serviced in August 2014 is an in perfect condition.
Original untouched silvered dial, a cream color really, with applied rose gold indices and arabic numerals and embossed minutes/seconds chapter. Original golden hands. Dial is in near mint condition, showing just a hint of age which in no way detracts from its beauty.
