Description
Patek Philippe launched the reference 2526 in 1953. It was the company’s first automatic winding wristwatch and total production was 580 watches. The vast majority of production was in 18k yellow gold. The 2526 is by far the most collectable Calatrava of all-time and this watch in 18k white gold from circa 1955 is a true rarity in mint original condition.

Case is 36mm in diameter by 12mm thick. The case back screws onto the case, which was Patek’s successful approach to making a water proof watch case. Domed acrylic crystal with original PP signed crown.

Original untouched cream-silver dial with enamel print, diamond markers, embossed minutes chapter and original dauphine hands.

Original and outstanding automatic winding Patek Philippe Caliber 12-600AT with 30 jewels, balance with swan’s neck regulator adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and in 5 positions and stamped with the Geneva Seal.

Black Patek alligator strap with vintage 18k white gold Patek buckle.
