Description
This vintage Rolex President is a special watch indeed. First, 18k white gold vintage Day Dates are much rarer than their yellow gold counterparts. Second, to find an original untouched salmon color “door stop” dial is unheard of. Third, the condition of this white gold case is mint+ - not bad for a 49 year old watch!
Original 18k white gold case is 36mm diameter by 11.5mm thick. Plastic crystal and white gold screw down crown working perfectly. Condition is unpolished mint+.
Original untouched salmon color pie pan dial with door stop markers, radial brush finish and original white gold hands. Full day on display beneath 12 o’clock and date at 3 o’clock.
Movement is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 1555 with 26 jewels and is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer. Movement is clean and running.
Watch is on new custom leather strap with Rolex buckle.
