Description
Here is a charming solid 18k lady’s wristwatch from Patek Philippe from circa 1955. The “High Top” model is rectangular with “bombe” case which is flat on the bottom and arches over the top. Crystal is faceted to achieve this effect. Watch features a Patek Philippe 18 jewel manual winding movement, so you know the movement is first class.
Gold dial on this vintage treasure is 100% original with applied golden indices. Dial has some minor aging on the edges, which in no way detracts from the watch’s charms. Original golden hands in mint condition.
This watch would have originally been on a strap. However, Patek jewelers in the 1940s and 50s would fashion solid 18k gold bracelets to these watches to dress them up. This watch has what is basically a watch strap made out of 18k gold with a buckle and three holes for sizing the bracelet. The bracelet enhances the watch’s elegance superbly.
This vintage collectable Patek Philippe is a very attractive lady’s watch and is in never polished original condition.
