Description
Feast your eyes on the brown chocolate subdials on this original and untouched dial. I promise that the dial looks much better in person than even our high resolution pictures can show. We have taken turns wearing this stunning watch since it arrived and it’s going to be hard to take off and ship!
Original stainless steel case has serial number 2737XXX which dates the watch to 1970. The 6262 was only produced in 1970, making it a very rare Daytona. Case measures 37mm diameter by 13.6mm thick. Plastic crystal. Original screw down crown and round pump-style chronograph pushers all work perfectly. Lugs are thick and uniform. Case is mint and full metal. Inside case back is engraved ‘6262’.
Original untouched silver dial with gorgeous tropical (brown) subdials. Applied hour markers and original hands.
Original manual winding Rolex Caliber 727 with 17 jewels and adjusted in 3 positions. Caliber features column wheel construction. Movement is clean and running.
Strap is brown Hermesesque with Rolex buckle.
