Description
It’s rarity and condition that differentiate outstanding vintage watches from ordinary ones. This R serial number Rolex Cosmograph Daytona reference 6263 has both attributes. Plus, it’s in never polished original condition with original box and papers.
Original 18k case with dimensions of 38mm diameter by 13.5mm thick. Crystal is plastic. Screw down crown and chronograph pushers all work perfectly and the chronograph functions all reset crisply and accurately to their respective zero positions. The unpolished case has some light signs of wear, but truly all very minor.
Original untouched perfect condition black dial with contrasting gold subdials and original hands in mint condition.
Original movement is the manual winding Rolex Caliber 727 with 17 jewels. This is a column wheel chronograph construction. Movement is clean and running.
Bracelet is the original 18k Rolex riveted Oyster. Bracelet has 12 links and is in mint condition with no stretch.
This is a highly collectable vintage Daytona… the very last of the model 6263 production and complete with original box and papers!
