Description
Here is a vintage treasure. Rare Vacheron Constantin from 1938 in stainless steel chronograph with untouched sector dial and Certificate of Authenticity from Vacheron Constantin.
Steel case is 34mm diameter by 12mm thick with original acrylic crystal, three-part construction and rectangular chrono pushers. Interestingly, on the certificate, Vacheron calls the center part of the case “Cubist”.
Original untouched silvered sector dial with inner hours and minutes chapter and peripheral seconds and 1/5ths of a second chapter. Two sunken subdials with concentric guilloche, one for constant seconds and a 45 minute chronograph totalizer. Original blued sword hands along with blued seconds hands.
Movement is the manual winding gilt brass Vacheron Constantin Caliber 295 with 21 jewels.
Strap is new custom rustic leather with steel buckle. Watch is in mint condition and will be delivered with the Vacheron Certificate of Authenticity.
