Description
There are not many watches that make the statement that this 5961 does. Starting with its 40.5mm diameter platinum case with 36 baguette diamond bezel (3.4 carats), and its matte blue dial with diamond markers, to its automatic winding in-house chronograph Caliber… this watch has it all.
Dial displays day, date and month along with the conventional time plus the ingenious chronograph totalizer subdial that combines the 30 minute and 12 hour indicators. There is even an AM/PM indicator and power reserve display.
Case has sapphire crystals front and display back and houses the important Patek Philippe Caliber CH 28-520 which is Patek’s first-ever manufacture chronograph caliber and the firm’s first-ever automatic winding chronograph. The movement has 40 jewels and an approximately 50 hour power reserve and is stamped with the Patek Philippe Seal.
Even the platinum deployment clasp has baguette diamonds inset.
