Description
Here is a nice vintage “Red” Submariner reference 1680 from 1972. The untouched original Tiffany & Co. co-signed Mark 4 dial is in mint condition.
Original stainless steel case measures 40mm diameter by 14mm thick. Original top hat style acrylic crystal. Original TripLock crown screws down smoothly and works perfectly. Original bezel turns smoothly and with the correct amount of resistance. Original bezel insert is clean. The case is clean, minimally if ever polished, and is in mint condition. Serial number 3303XXX dates production to 1972.
Original Mark 4 black dial is in perfect condition and has the red “Submariner” which is so attractive to collectors. Date display is at 3 o’clock. Original hands also in mint condition.
Original automatic winding Rolex Caliber 1570 with 26 jewels and adjusted to temperature and in 5 positions. This movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer and is clean and running.
Rolex heavy link ref. 93150 Oyster bracelet with flip lock clasp in mint condition.
