Here is a rare, exclusive and beautiful timepiece that packs a lot of complications for the price. This watch’s retail price when it was available from the Blancpain Boutiques was $87,900. Get it from us for less than half of the price, complete with all the goodies.
Platinum case is massive at 42mm diameter by 13.5mm thick. Domed sapphire front crystal and flat sapphire display back crystal. The complications are set by the small levers built into the back of the watch at the edges of the bezel. This is an ingenious innovation, versus the normal setting buttons recessed into the case.
Havana brown dial with applied roman numerals and slender leaf style hands. Dial displays normal 12 hour time plus a second time zone via the GMT 24 hour hand with the red arrow tip. Perpetual calendar displays are: month and leap year cycle, date, moonphase, and day.
Automatic winding Blancpain Caliber 55A5A with 28 jewels, adjusted to 5 positions and with decorated winding rotor.
Brown crocodile Blancpain strap in near mint condition with platinum Blancpain deployment clasp.
