Description
This is just a really nice watch. Rolex took their best-selling model the Datejust at 36mm diameter and injected it with steroids and voila: the Datejust II was born. At 41mm the size is just right for today’s style and being a Rolex Datejust, it’s the perfect watch.
Case is stainless steel with solid 18k white gold fluted bezel, sapphire crystal and screw-down crown. 41.5mm diameter by 12.3mm thick. To be honest, it wears even larger than its dimensions suggest, which is a good thing.
Dial is metallic blue with applied white gold roman numerals and baton hands. Date at 3 o’clock.
Movement is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 3136 with 31 jewels, Parachrom Breguet spring, Paraflex shock absorption, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
Oyster bracelet in stainless steel with all links and great sliding-fit clasp.
Watch is absolutely indiscernible from new with Rolex box, hang tag, Rolex warranty card and booklets. US Retail Price is $9,100.
