Description
This is a crazy good deal on a solid 18k gold Heuer chronograph, which is an exacting reissue of the classic 1964 Heuer Carrera. Condition is very nice and clean. I love these modern watches with vintage looks – the best of both worlds!
Case is solid 18k with perfect lines and proportions. 36mm diameter by 13mm with domed acrylic crystal. Smooth bezel, beveled lugs, screw down case back and pump chrono pushers. Case back has the Heuer logo and 18k hallmarks along with model and serial number.
Two-tone silver dial with applied golden hour markers and golden baton hands with inlaid luminous. Subdials in tri-compax arrangement are sunken and with concentric guilloche, for running seconds, chronograph 30 minute and 12 hour totalizers. Seoconds and 1/5ths of a second chapter on dial flange and blue inner scale.
Movement is the manual winding Lemania Caliber 1873, which is a tireless workhorse of a caliber that will run forever. Movement has 18 jewels and is clean and running great.
Brown crocodile strap with 18k Heuer buckle. Watch is like new.
