Description
Time to come clean: I wore this watch home last night. I kept looking at the original Serti dial with its top quality diamond and sapphire hour markers, which has undergone an organic color change to a caramel brown/gray color. In addition, the dial has some sparkling going on which makes this dial look like a stone dial; it is certainly unique and uniquely beautiful.
The combination of the steel and gold case, solid gold bezel with blue insert, and the Serti dial with the stones is just visually scrumptious.
18k gold and stainless steel Submariner case, which is also known as “two-tone”, is water resistant to 1000 feet or 300 meters. Measuring 40mm diameter, the case has a gold Trip-Lock crown, sapphire crystal, diver’s count-up timing bezel which turns in one direction, solid end links and the original Rolex Oyster bracelet, with flip-lock clasp.
Movement is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 3135 with 31 jewels, Microstella balance adjustment screws, Breguet balance spring, and is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer. This movement will keep exceptionally accurate time no matter how roughly you treat it. That’s what makes a Rolex a lifetime watch.
