Description
This is a 100% original vintage Rolex Oyster Cosmograph Daytona chronograph in unpolished stainless steel with Rolex Oyster bracelet. There are many Daytona imitators, but the original is and always will be King of the sports watch.
Original stainless steel case measures 38mm in diameter by 14mm thick. Condition is never polished mint. Screw down pump chronograph pushers and screw down crown operating perfectly. Plastic crystal. Original bezel with “Units per Hour” scale from ‘50’ to ‘200’. Serial number 9128XXX dates production to 1985 which is in the late period of 6263 production.
Original untouched black Big Red dial has applied hour markers and contrasting silver subdials. Dial and hands are original and pristine.
Original movement is the Chronometer certified manual winding Rolex Caliber 727 with 17 jewels and adjusted to three positions. This is a column wheel chronograph construction. Movement is pristine and operating perfectly. Chronograph resets to zero crisply and accurately.
Bracelet is Rolex Oyster with folding clasp in mint condition.
