Description
We love Tridors, but they only come around once in a blue moon. With its fusion of 18k white, rose and yellow gold in the President bracelet and the solid white gold head with yellow gold bezel. Funky? Definitely. Rare? Assuredly. Cool? Off the charts!
A Tridor is all about the case and bracelet. Those are what make it unique in watchdom. The Tridor is a Rolex Day Date in white gold with yellow gold fluted bezel and a President bracelet with links that sandwich a color spectrum of pink gold, yellow gold, and white gold into the center links, while the outer part of the links on both sides are white gold. The case measures 36mm diameter by 12.8mm thick. The crystal is sapphire and the case is water resistant to 100 meters.
It would be too easy to simply use Rolex parlance and say that this dial is “Champagne”. It’s not. Instead, it is more of an Apricot color. When I looked at color charts for this color, the closest match I can find is “Mellow Apricot”. Applied white gold Roman numerals with original white gold baton hands. Of course, the cogent feature of the Day Date is the unabbreviated day display which is accompanied by the date window at 3 o’clock.
Movement is automatic winding Rolex caliber with double-quickset day and date. This movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
Bracelet has an invisible folding clasp.
