Description
The Rolex GMT Master II is the archetypal GMT/second timezone watch. Rolex upgraded the GMT with a ceramic bezel and new, more robust case design in 2009. This watch is new and complete with inner and outer boxes and Rolex warranty card dated February 2016 with no buyer’s name. Buying a brand new Rolex is akin to buying a brand new car. The “like new” or “gently pre-owned” alternatives are not as fulfilling as buying a brand new Rolex watch.
Case is 18k white gold, with extra fat lugs, white gold bezel with blue and red (aka “Pepsi”) ceramic insert white gold Trip-Lock crown. The crystal is sapphire. The case is water resistant to 100 meters. Case measures 40mm diameter by 12mm thick. The protective case stickers are still adhered and never removed!
Black dial with applied, large luminous hour markers and hands. The red 24 hour hand is independently settable from the 12 hour hand.
Movement is the extremely robust and super accurate automatically winding Rolex Caliber 3186. The movement has 31 jewels, Parachrome Breguet balance spring, Micro Stella regulating screws, and is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
