It is rare to find a vignette dial in a Datejust, and extremely rare to find one in an all-white color watch (versus steel and yellow gold). This stainless steel Datejust features 18k white gold fluted bezel and the truly stunning blue vignette dial that darkens in color from the inside toward the outer area of the dial, along with original factory diamond hour markers. This Datejust is accompanied by Rolex box and original papers. Original steel/18k white gold case with plastic crystal, screw-down crown operating perfectly, and dimensions of 36mm diameter by 12.5mm thick. Serial number 8716XXX dates production to 1984. Original untouched Blue Vignette dial with diamond markers, original hands and date at 3 o’clock. Once again, it is a rarity to find a Vignette dial not in a watch with yellow gold. Accordingly, since this dial has white gold diamond mountings and not the yellow gold mountings found on the 99% of other vignette dials, this one is a real rarity. Original quick-setting automatic winding Rolex Caliber 3035 with 27 jewels and adjusted in 5 positions and to temperature. This C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer movement is immaculate and running. Rolex Jubilee bracelet is clean with folding deployment clasp. This watch is just striking, and is also accompanied by Rolex box and papers.
