Description
It’s rarity and condition that differentiate outstanding vintage watches from ordinary ones. This never-polished R serial number Rolex Cosmograph Daytona reference 6265 has both attributes.
Original 18k case with dimensions of 38mm diameter by 13.5mm thick. Crystal is plastic. Screw down crown and chronograph pushers all work perfectly and the chronograph functions all reset crisply and accurately to their respective zero positions.
Original untouched perfect condition gold dial with contrasting black subdials and original hands in mint condition.
Original movement is the manual winding Rolex Caliber 727 with 17 jewels. This is a column wheel chronograph construction. Movement is clean and running.
Bracelet is the original 18k Rolex riveted Oyster with no stretch.
This is a highly collectable vintage Daytona… the very last of the model 6265 production in unpolished new old stock condition.
