I can’t tell you how many times I would see a rose gold Rolex Day Date and think to myself “man, if only Rolex would make a rose gold Daytona… that would be killer”. And then they did! This reference 116515 Everose 18k rose gold Daytona has chocolate brown dial and black Cerachrom bezel. This watch is indiscernible from new with box and papers.
The 18k rose gold Oyster case measures 40mm in diameter by 12.8mm thick. Seeing the Triplock crown and screw down chronograph pushers in rose gold is very exciting if you are a watch lover. The Units per Hour scale on the bezel has values from ‘60’ to ‘400’. The crystal is sapphire. The watch case is water resistant to 100 meters.
The dial is brown with large applied arabic numerals and luminous hands. The chronograph subdials have concentric guilloche rings and provide a 30 minute and 12 hour chronograph totalizer and running seconds. The word “DAYTONA” is printed in red and arches over the top of the 6 o’clock subdial.
Movement is the automatic winding Rolex chronograph Caliber 4130 with 44 jewels, Parachrome Breguet balance spring, Rolex’s ingenious MicroStella regulating screws system, and many other impressive technical features. This movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
