The Rolex Daytona is the most iconic and recognizable sports watch in the watch world. It’s attractive, and extremely comfortable to wear. This watch is in remarkable condition and shows almost no signs at all of wear.
The polished stainless steel case measures 40mm in diameter and is 12.8mm thick. Crystal is sapphire. This watch features screw-down crown and chrono pushers and is water resistant to 100 meters. Bracelet on this watch is Rolex’s signature Jubilee bracelet. Bezel is fixed and engraved with the Units per Hour scale from ‘60’ to ‘400’.
This watch has an incredible and rare color change dial, that’s turned a beautiful cream in color. Applied silver hour markers with inlaid luminous inserts and luminous silver hands. There are 30 minute and 12 hour chronograph totalizer subdials along with a running seconds subdial. “DAYTONA” is printed in red and arches over the lowest subdial.
Movement for this watch is the Rolex automatic winding Caliber 4130. Rolex designed and built this caliber as the best chronograph movement that could be manufactured. They concentrated on technical excellence (long lubrication life, long service intervals and minimizing friction), timekeeping excellence (C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer) and serviceability.
Watch is like new, in Mint++ condition (K serial production) and complete with box and papers.
