Wow…just WOW! That’s all I can say when I see the Rolex Submariner “Hulk”. Truly an extraordinary timepiece. Well proportioned and of course the right shade of green. Rolex nailed it with this one.
Specially developed Oystersteel case measures 40mm in diameter and 13mm thick. Monobloc middle case with screw-down crown and Triploc triple waterproof system. Bezel is made by Rolex from a corrosion-resistant ceramic, making it almost impossible to scratch. Notice the knurled edge around the bezel. That was done by Rolex to ensure grip when under water, even when wearing gloves. Bezel is engraved with 60-minute graduations to allow a diver to monitor dive time. Numerals and graduations on bezel are coated in platinum.
Serial number G608XXX dates production to 2010.
Beautiful distinctive Rolex green dial. Luminous hour markers fashioned with 18k gold to prevent tarnishing. Date window at the 3 o’clock position. Dial is extremely readable. Crystal is Sapphire.
Movement on this beauty is the Rolex Caliber 3135 with 31 jewels and Parachrom hairspring to protect against temperature and shock. Adjusted to five positions and temperature. 48 hour power reserve. Movement is C.O.S.C Chronometer Certified.
