The Rolex Submariner is easily one of if not the best seller for Rolex. This watch is virtually indestructible and is great for everyday use and of course, for diving. The no date dial is similar to that of the 6200 in the early 1950’s. Beautiful and simple, sometimes less is more. The reference 14060, which was introduced in 1990, was the successor to the famous 5513.
The stainless steel case is 40mm in diameter and is approx 12.5mm thick. The watch features a sapphire crystal and screw-down crown. Case is water resistant to 1000 feet or 300 meters. The bezel turns counter-clockwise only and serves as a dive timer counting up to 60 minutes of elapsed time. Case back still has original protective sticker. The A-series serial number dates the production of this watch to 1999.
The dial is a glossy black with applied luminous hour markers and hands.
Movement for this watch is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 3130 with 31 jewels and a power reserve of 42 hours.
Bracelet on this watch is the stainless steel Rolex Oyster. The watch is New Old Stock and in perfect condition.
