The Datejust is a true classic and indeed the most versatile Rolex ever. This watch dresses up and just as easily dresses down. Notice the Florentine finish, also known as “Behamian” on both the lugs and the bracelet. The look of this watch is simple, yet has something incredibly special about it.
Original stainless steel Oyster case measures 36mm diameter and approx 12mm thick. The bezel smooth and is 18k white gold. This watch features a Screw-down crown and the crystal is plastic. The case is original and unpolished with Florentine finish atop the lugs. Serial number 2080XXX dates production of this watch to 1970.
The silver dial on this watch is as mint as can be. Applied silver hour markers and hands with luminous inserts. All of the luminous dots are fully intact. Date wheel at the 3 o’clock position.
Movement for this watch is the Rolex automatic winding Caliber 1560 which is a 26 jewel C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
Bracelet is Rolex Jubilee with the same Florentine finish as on the lugs. Bracelet is in fantastic condition.
