This watch is one of the most incredible, rare, collectable and beautiful original untouched 5512’s I have ever seen on a vintage Submariner. ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL in gilt (gold) print, and then the last two lines of text in silver print.
Original stainless steel case with POINTED CROWN GUARDS in mint+ condition. 40mm in diameter by 14.4mm thick, with domed plastic crystal and original screw down crown. Serial number 1215XXX dates the production of this watch to 1964.
Original untouched black gilt gloss dial with an incredibly beautiful and even patina across the hands and hour markers.
Movement for this watch is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 1560 with 26 jewels and adjusted to temperature and in 5 positions.
Watch comes fitted with the Rolex folded link Oyster bracelet in mint condition. This watch is truly few and far between. In mint condition and comes complete with original box and papers.
