These beautiful and hard to come by reference 6265’s are not easy to find and in fact, they are getting rarer every year. And to add to the amazement, this example comes with the original box and papers!
Stainless steel case is 37mm in diameter by 13.5mm thick. Original screw down chronograph pushers and original screw down crown. Original bezel with Units per Hour scale from ‘50’ to ‘200’ showing slight signs of wear. The crystal is Plastic. Serial number 2788XXX on this watch dates production to 1970.
Original early black dial is in mint condition. Incredibly clean and balanced looking. Applied hour markers and contrasting silver subdials with concentric guilloche.
Movement for this watch is the manual winding Rolex Caliber 727 with 17 jewels and adjusted to three positions. This chronograph caliber features column wheel construction. Movement is clean and running.
Bracelet is Rolex heavy link Oyster in excellent condition and once again is complete with the original box and papers.
