Description
Launched around 1930, the Rolex 2811 is an early and rare example of an astonishing Rolex Anti-Magnetic Chrono.
Original 32mm 18k yellow gold case with acrylic crystal. 12mm thick. Flat bezel, concave lugs with original snap on caseback. Olive shaped chrono pushers. Case, dial and movement signed.
Black dial with applied gilt indexes and Arabic numerals. Sunk subsidiary dials for the seconds and 30-minute register. Tachometer and telemeter scales.
Movement is the manual M. 12.5 Rhodium-plated, straight-line lever escapement. Mono-metallic balance, self compensating Breguet balance spring and index regulator.
An extraordinary rare pre-war era timepiece in mint condition.
