Description
Here is one of the nicest vintage Submariner watches we have ever seen, from Tudor or Rolex. This Tudor Submariner is from circa 1982 with so-called “Snowflake” hands, featuring blue dial, seriously great looking “ghost bezel”, 39mm stainless steel Rolex Oyster case (signed on the case back “ORIGINAL OYSTER CASE BY ROLEX GENEVA”) and is on an unworn perfectly matching gray suede cuff style strap with steel Rolex buckle..
Original steel case has fat lugs, original bezel with crisp serrated edge and original blue faded to gray “ghost” bezel insert, top hat style plastic crystal, and Rolex Triplock crown which is working fine. Being a dive watch, when properly sealed and pressure tested by a watchmaker, case is water resistant to 200 meters.
Original blue meters first dial is in mint condition with original tritium hour markers, original Snowflake hands and date at 3 o’clock. Dial text reads: “TUDOR PRINCE OYSTERDATE 200m = 660 ft SUBMARINER”.
Original automatic winding Tudor movement with 25 jewels which is clean and running.
This is a seriously awesome looking watch and quite collectable. Aesthetically, this watch is a piece unique. Vintage Tudor watches are gaining a lot of traction in the Watchosphere and this watch, in particular, is a special one.
