The Enicar reference 2303 is a fantastic collectors watch. Also known as the “Pre-Sherpa”, this chronograph is a magnificent vintage timepiece to add to any collection.
Stainless steel case measures 37mm in diameter. Wide lugs and a screw down caseback. The caseback is signed with reference 2303 and signed Enicar. The case features two round chrono pushers that function as good as new and the crown is signed with the Enicar insignia.
The original gray dial is in mint condition. Each hour marker has a tritium plot. The hands also feature luminous inserts. Sunken chronograph registers with the 3 o’clock being the 30-minute counter, 12 o’clock the hour counter and the 9 o’clock for constant seconds. The dial features a tachymeter scale and 1/5th seconds chapter in white.
Movement for this watch is the Manual winding Valjoux 72 with 17 jewels.
This is a watch you will find very few lucky people wearing and comes complete with the original box.
